Scholarships

The Greenwich Choral Society is pleased to announce the competition for the annual Nathalie Rutherford Scholarship Award of $1,000. Any senior attending school in Fairfield or Westchester County who intends to pursue further study in vocal or choral music is encouraged to apply.

Applications and audition tapes need to be submitted in April. For details, see the following documents:

Soprano Victoria Ann Esposito of Stamford attends Stamford High School and studies with Cheryl Kemeny. She will attend The Boston Conservatory in the fall of 2010 for her Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance, and then continue her studies at graduate school. Soprano Abigail Lindig of Mount Kisco, who attends Fox Lane High School and studies with Lorraine Nubar at The Juilliard pre-college division, will attend Rice University to study classical voice. She plans to return to Juilliard to complete a Master’s degree in opera studies.
