Scholarships
The Greenwich Choral Society is pleased to announce the competition for the annual Nathalie Rutherford Scholarship Award of $1,000. Any senior attending school in Fairfield or Westchester County who intends to pursue further study in vocal or choral music is encouraged to apply.
Applications and audition tapes need to be submitted in April. For details, see the following documents:

2011 Winners:
Perri DiChristina, Greenwich High School, Greenwich, CT
Devon Mehring, Greenwich High School, Greenwich, CT
A 2011 winner, Perri DiChristina (right in photo below), has been accepted at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and he is also auditioning at Julliard, Curtis and MSM. She plans to study classical voice and opera. She particularly enjoys music of the Romantic period. Perri intends to pursue a Masters in Music degree after college.
The other 2011 winner, Devon Mehring (left in photo below), has been accepted at both Columbia University and the Julliard School of Music and plans on participating in the Columbia-Julliard Exchange Program as a vocal major.
The winners of the annual Nathalie Rutherford Scholarship Award each receive a $1000 check. The Scholarship is open to any senior attending school in Fairfield or Westchester County who intends to pursue further study in vocal or choral music.
